JG BAR-10 Bolt Problem Q&A
JG BAR-10 Bolt Problem Q&A
Q: My jg bar 10 has been having issues with the bolt slaming forward and the sears not catching on the piston.
A: Slamfire can be cause by these things:
1. Screws in your trigger box are loose
2. The spring guide stopper is wiggly.
3. You didn't install (if you recently cleaned your gun) something in your trigger mech or cylinder right.
4. The sears (piston and/or trigger sear are worn and/or broken)
5. The piston is worn out (so it can't be caught).
If your sure it's the sears, make sure your trigger sear isn't broken first.
If it isn't broken, check your piston. Is it worn? If not, move on.
Check the loose screw, if none, move on again.
Check to see if you can wiggle the spring guide stopper back and forth - if there is a lot of action, shim it up. If not much wiggle-ness, move on.
The last thing (assuming you put everything together right) is just the piston sear. I'm not sure if upgraded sears would work with stock sears - you could try though. I'm pretty sure you'll need the PDI trigger sear as well.

JG Aug A3 Level 3 Upgrade
JG Aug A3 comes with a mosfet chip along with its new rail system gives this gun some fearsome power but what if you add a level 3 upgrades from hitguns.com

We choose this gun to test because it has a reinforced gearbox and a mostfet to push the upgrade with out worry of breaking the gearbox, Also since this gun is a bull-pup the AEG can archive greater range and still remain compacted to the user, The plastic body also helps keep sound of the gearbox down since the sound can be absorbed into the body of the gun and not echo out like a metal body AEG
After we get the AEG ready for the upgrade our tech opens up the gearbox and gives it a throughout cleaning ensuring there is no grease left over from the factory/old grease. The gear box is then inspected to see if there are any defects like cracks, or warp in the metal.

Next our tech shims the gearbox to ensure the gun has smooth operation and the gears are then broken-in. The compression part of the gearbox is tested to make sure the piston and cylinder is holding and compressing the air properly to get the most out of the spring.
Everything in the gearbox is checked over, lubed and checked over again to ensure everything is smooth. The AEG was then shot with a 7.2 Volt Nic Cad Battery to ensure the smoothness of the tune and the fps.

In the end we have a 500+fps gun with the smoothness and reliability of hitguns.com.
Pared with the stock mosfet chip to save the electric contacts and for faster rate of fire this AEG can easily take a lipoly battery no problem with out the worry of burned connectors, wires or motor. After using the AEG the fps settled down to an average of 505fps.

WE 1911 Style Full Metal Gas Blow Back Airsoft Gun Review

The WE 1911 Style Full Metal Gas Blow Back Pistol is probably one of the most realistic airsoft gas guns we have picked up. Right off the bat, it has a heavy, real steel feeling as you pick it up. It is full metal contributing to a realistic weight. The looks of the pistol is extraordinary and details are as close to the popular classic 1911 Colt .45 ACP as can be. The sound from cocking the gun sounds nice and very much like the real steel. It even has a nice imprinted marking showing .45 ACP where the real steel would have it.
The magazine is heavy and also full metal except for the spring guide which draws up the BB's. The bottom of the magazine seems a bit flimsy but it hasn't failed yet. The sound of the magazine ejecting out or sliding into the pistol is as realistic as it can get. We have put some heavy use into this gun firing many rounds and quickly refilling the magazine with gas, but the o-ring has not failed yet. Please keep in mind we are doing this to test the built and quality of the gun. For any gas gun, under normal circumstances, we highly do not recommend shooting as many BB's as possible with one clip as this will freeze up the o-ring and crack it. If you must fire many rounds, please purchase extra magazines.
Field stripping the WE 1911 is easy and just like field stripping a real pistol. This allows for the gun to be cleaned and relubricated to keep the gun performing at its peak level.
The performance of the gun is remarkable. We have tested the airsoft gun using propane and it shot hard and loud with a nice kick to it. There is a safety feature behind the hand grip, just like the real gun, which is a very nice feature to have and does not interfere with the experience. The pistol feels very solid, but there is room for improvements. The slide tends to rattle when the gun is shaken side to side due to the pistol being full metal, but it isn't a big problem and we are looking for ways to tighten things up.
Please note, if you choose to use propane with your airsoft guns, you must apply a few drops of silicone oil since propane does not have it mixed in already unlike green gas.
Overall, the WE 1911 is a great choice for a gas blow back. It is affordable, very detail oriented, and lots of features are like the real steel. The gun shoots hard and loud with a nice kick. It will definitely be a great side arm to your airsoft electric gun. We are confident that we have addressed the common, but minor, problems with this gun and that you will enjoy it if this is your choice for an airsoft pistol. Boyi/D-Boys Cylinder & Fast Piston Set, JG High Torque Motors at HitGuns.com

Boyi/D-Boys Cylinder & Fast Piston set for V2 Gear Box

JG Turbo High Torque M120 Motor

JG Turbo High Torque M110 Motor
Most powerful motor from JG. Better performance than eg-3000. Ultra High torque turbo motor design for M120 grade spring. This motor is used on all 2008 JG upgraded series. Cylinder & Fast Piston set for V2 Gear Box, made by Boyi/ DBoy. Fast piston made with polycarbonate with spacer on the rail to make it move faster. These are great parts to upgrade your airsoft electric gun if you are deciding to put an M110 or M120 grade spring in your current gun. If your current airsoft gun is shooting at a lower FPS than you desire, it is best to drop in a stronger spring. However, most stock airsoft motors are not capable of handling a stronger spring and require you to change out the motor with a stronger one. For all airsoft guns, it is best to keep good maintenance practices such as cleaning your gun and lubricating it every few magazines. As with all airsoft electric guns and mechanics, if there are moving parts, it will require lubrication. For more ideas on what to upgrade to get a more favorable performance, visit HitGuns.com.

Systema & ICS Airsoft Upgrade Springs at HitGuns.com

Systema Upgrade Spring Grade M150

Systema Upgrade Spring Grade M120

ICS Upgrade Spring Grade M140

ICS Upgrade Spring Grade M120
HitGuns.com is now carrying more airsoft upgrade springs by Systema and ICS. The benefit of upgrading the spring for your airsoft electric gun is a higher FPS, which means more power. It is highly advised that if you choose to upgrade your airsoft gun, that you upgrade other internal parts as well, such as putting some metal bushings. You may possibly want to look into upgrading your motor in your airsoft gun and putting a stronger battery to accommodate the heavier spring.

JG M4 Mid Cap Magazine now available at HitGuns.com

JG M4 Mid Cap 68 Rounds Metal Magazine
Highest quality mid cap airsoft magazine with smooth feeding, no winding needed, spring loaded. Tokyo Marui compatible, fits any M4 series airsoft electric guns by JG, Boyi, AGM, ICS, Classic Army, A&K, G&G
Mid cap airsoft magazines are becoming more favored by many airsofters over high capacity magazines for their airsoft electric gun. Although they hold fewer rounds, they will not rattle and make sounds as opposed to hi-cap magazines. Also, in many airsoft games, players are allowed to use only one hi-cap magazine and as many mid-caps as they want.
